About me *
I strive to build a strong connection with your child, understanding their interests and learning style. By tailoring my approach to what engages them most, I’ll help them grasp essential knowledge and gain the confidence they need to thrive in school.
I will support your child’s learning by reinforcing their school curriculum progression, this will strengthen their long-term core memory, and deepen their understanding of key concepts. Additionally, I will identify and address any learning gaps, ensuring they build a strong foundation for future success.
I’ve gone from managing the progress of 30 students each year—balancing biweekly planning and classroom demands—to now dedicating hours each day to carefully planning for just a handful of students. This allows me to provide highly focused, personalised support tailored to each child’s needs.
Each group is limited to just six children, allowing me to give focused one-to-one support while still progressing the whole group together. This balance means I can identify and fill individual learning gaps without losing the energy and benefits of collaborative learning. In a small group, children are exposed to different ways of thinking, learn to explain their ideas, and gain confidence from working alongside peers—something one-to-one tutoring can sometimes lack. It’s the best of both worlds: personalised attention and the motivation that comes from learning together.
